Donations and Fundraising Efforts for canada's longest pier

Donations and Fundraising

As a community, we saw first hand how the storm on December 20, 2018, ravaged the City, in particular, the waterfront.

There will be an organization that will be accepting donations towards the waterfront and Pier restoration. Once more details are received, the City will provide more information.

The City appreciates the generous offers of fundraising campaigns and donations.

Our Pier: A Retrospective

The City’s Recreation and Culture Department, Communications and Government Relations Department, the White Rock Museum and Archives, and the White Rock Youth Ambassador Program are pleased to announce the opening of the exhibit Our Pier: A Retrospective at the Landmark Pop-Uptown Gallery starting on February 14 and running through March 23 (Thursdays/Fridays 1pm-5pm and Saturdays 10am to 5pm).

Historic reproductions will be available to view and prints available for sale, with proceeds going to waterfront repairs.

Bean Around the World Coffee

As proud members of this community, Bean Around the World wanted to find a way to do their part in supporting the City’s waterfront and shoreline restoration and enhancement efforts. So, they created a special coffee blend just for us called, “White Rock Pier Blend”.

This blend is only available at the White Rock Bean Around the World location (1400 Johnson Road, White Rock, BC), with $2 from every purchase going to the City’s waterfront and shoreline restoration and enhancement efforts. Follow @BATWcoffee on social media.
