2011 Projects
New Benches
Older benches around the City of White Rock have been upgraded and new benches have been added to strategic locations throughout the city. Now you can stop for a break along Johnston Road or take in the breathtaking ocean view along Marine Drive.

Peace Arch Elementary Washroom
The field at Peace Arch Elementary is regularly used by a variety of sports teams. In 2011, the City of White Rock, with funding from the Rotary Millennium Club and the Federal government, completed construction on a much needed washroom facility.
Washroom Upgrades
In the summer of 2011, the washroom facilities along Marine Drive received a much needed facelift.
Kent Street Activity Centre
In 2011, with Federal funding in the form of a RInC grant, the City completed a number of upgrades at the Kent Street Activity Centre, including the installation of a much needed elevator.
