New Waste Collection Program
The City of White Rock is transforming its waste collection in order to divert waste from the landfill. On October 1, 2012, garbage collection for single family dwellings moved to biweekly/alternate week collection.
Biweekly solid waste collection service will help the City meet our 70% waste diversion objective by 2015.
Residential recycling and green can collection remains unchanged, with weekly pickup.
The City of White Rock hopes to further reduce waste and will continue to look for ways to meet the 70% waste diversion rate.
