9. How do I get my documents signed that require a commissioner for taking affidavits?
The City of White Rock's policy is that the commissioner will only provide this service to White Rock residents. Appointments for this service should be made by contacting the Corporate Services Department at (604) 541-2129. Please note that if the commissioner is required to witness your signature, you must to sign it in their presence at City Hall. Additionally, if the commissioner is required to certify any information as true and correct, you must provide the appropriate documentation confirming all the information to be certified. If you are asking the commissioner to sign documents other than pension papers, you should phone ahead to ensure the commissioner is the appropriate signatory.
