Since 1990 BC Local Government Elections for Mayor, Councillors and School Board Trustees was held every three years. The Chief Election Officer as appointed by the City of White Rock Council is responsible for conducting local government elections.
The electors of the City of White Rock elect:
- One Mayor
- One School Trustee
- Six Councillors
