Long-term fiscal sustainability is an important goal for the City of White Rock. Working to achieve this goal requires solid, informed direction and decisions on financial issues, but also, on the provision of services and land use within the community.
On an annual basis, Council and staff work to prepare a five-year financial plan and engages the community for input on that plan. The City strives to set responsible budgets and meet the targets within those budgets. We continually aim to manage the delicate balance needed to provide the services demanded by the public with the ability and willingness to pay for those services, while also focusing on planning for the long-term impact of the community.
