Fire Safety Education

The White Rock Fire Rescue, Fire Prevention Division is available upon request to give school age children fire safety presentations. Presentations are offered to kindergartens, grades 1 to 5, guides or scout troops, and other children's organizations. Fire safety education is tailored for the specific audience and age group. Depending on the group of children, topics include:

  • Crawl Low Under Smoke
  • Dial 911 and Emergency Information
  • Escape Plans and Exit Drills
  • Firefighter Gear
  • Firefighters Are Your Friends
  • Matches and Lighter Safety
  • Smoke Detectors
  • Stop, Drop, and Roll
  • What is an Emergency

Preschool fire safety education is offered to preschools at the Fire Hall.

Schedule a Presentation

To schedule a fire safety presentation, or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the White Rock Fire Rescue Fire Prevention Division at 604-541-2121.

Cancellation

  • Fire safety education is subject to cancellation if an emergency should occur, your time with us will be rescheduled.
  • Transportation must remain available on-site as presentation may be interrupted or cancelled on short notice due to call volume.

If you need to cancel, White Rock Fire Rescue requires 48 hours' notice.
