Police partner with the community, taking a problem-solving pro-active approach that emphasizes the role of police as partners with the citizens of White Rock on issues of public safety and security.
White Rock embraces this model recognizing that the success of true community-based policing begins at the local level. Our people are the most valuable resource. Private and community funding help support the local programs through fund-raising by the Semiahmoo Community Safety Society.
Community Policing
The White Rock RCMP has been a leader in the field of Community Policing / Victim Assistance for over twenty years. We have a history of creating dynamic programs to meet the specific policing needs of our community. Our programs and have been the recipients of many National, Provincial and local awards.
There are currently over thirty committed volunteers who are involved in over twenty crime preventive initiatives. These volunteers play an integral role in the success of crime prevention in White Rock. Each year our dedicated volunteers contribute thousands of hours of their time to our community.
