The City of White Rock is proud to support local artists through the Pop-Uptown program. The intent of the art gallery is to facilitate and inspire new artistic and creative enterprises in White Rock. Pop-Uptown allows artists to occupy the art gallery and share their talents with the community.

Current Exhibit - Fibre & Textile & Sale

Dec. 3 to Dec. 24: Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Heritage quilts, Traditional and contemporary quilts; sculptures, portraits, land, and seascapes are explored through fibre and textile media. Artists Wendy Rao, Dorin Sherriff, Roslyn Bellin, and Sian Rackham come together showcasing a shared passion for using tactile expressions in this inspired, ancient creative use of fibres and textiles that resonates with all people through the stories they tell. It is a message from times past and present in the 21st Century. The functional craft of necessity has become the contemporary.
