Leisure Access Program

The Leisure Access program provides low-income residents with access to recreation programs and services. The program ensures that residents are not restricted from access or participation in a reasonable variety of recreation activities due to financial hardship.

Residents are provided with a mechanism for accessing subsidies which incorporates confidentiality, dignity, privacy and easy access.

How can I apply?

Applications are available online. Click here to access the form. Complete one application per family and return it to the registration desk with required documents as listed here.  (Facilities are currently closed. Please call us at 604-541-2199 to arrange your form submission.)

Who is eligible?

All permanent White Rock residents who meet the annual family income limitations may apply. Total income for all adults in the household must be included in the application. Please contact Recreation and Culture by e-mail at recreation@whiterockcity.ca or by phone at 604-541-2199 to apply.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart


Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national charitable program with the goal of allowing all kids a chance to recreate and connect with their communities. This program helps kids (ages 4-18) with socioeconomic barriers participate in organized sport and recreation by providing funding for registration and equipment. Forms can be completed by a parent and will need a teacher/coach/youth worker to sign off that the child fits the requirements for funding.
