A Public Information Meeting will be hosted by the APPLICANT in the Gallery Room of the White Rock Community Centre (15154 Russell Avenue) on November 24, 2022, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm to discuss an application for the property at 1588 Johnston Road.
The City of White Rock has received a Development Variance Permit (DVP) application to request relief from the minimum residential visitor parking stall requirement of 53 to permit a shared parking scheme.
The applicant has proposed a shared parking scheme which would allow 18 of the 57 residential visitor parking stalls to be used for commercial employee use during business hours (i.e., 8:00am to 5:00pm). The proposal seeks a variance to allow a minimum residential parking stall requirement of 39 during business hours.
City staff will be in attendance to monitor the meeting and to report back to Council on the meeting.
