The Pier Reconstruction Contractor will be conducting night operations on Thursday, May 16th and Friday, May 17th. The work will include material transloading adjacent to the breakwater during high tide using the barge’s crane to transport materials from a material barge to the Contractor’s work barge. This will require the use of the crane and the work will begin at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16th until transloading is completed.
On Friday, May 17th starting at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Contractor’s barge will be relocated from the transloading location adjacent to the breakwater to the West side of the Pier at high tide. Work will continue until the barge is in location alongside the Pier.
