Additional City building closures due to COVID-19

COVID-19 update from the City of White Rock

The City of White Rock continues to look at building closures to help keep the community and employees safe and to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Here is an update regarding building closures:

Recreation 

Recreation facilities are closed and programs are cancelled at the following centres:

  • Kent Street Activity Centre, 1475 Kent St.
  • White Rock Community Centre, 15154 Russell Ave.
  • Centennial Arena, 14600 North Bluff Rd.
  • Centre for Active Living, 1475 Anderson St.

Anyone who has signed up for programs that have been cancelled will receive a refund. Visit www.whiterockcity.ca/recreation.

Solid Waste, Engineering, HR and IT

The City of White Rock has closed the Engineering and Operations Centre at 877 Keil St. and the City Hall Annex at 1174 Fir St.

City Hall and Council Meetings

White Rock City Hall on Buena Vista Avenue remains open to the public at this time and cleaning measures are in place to help keep visitors and employees safe.

To protect against the spread of COVID-19, please do not enter City Hall if you are feeling unwell or have recently travelled outside of Canada, including to the United States. Please use online services when possible.

All regular Council meetings and committee meetings and regular Council meetings are still scheduled. Any updates will be posted here. Visit whiterockcity.ca/agendacenter.
