IMPORTANT: Changes to City of White Rock solid waste collection

The City of White Rock continues to provide solid waste collection during the COVID-19 global pandemic. 

 To protect the public and employees, the following important measures are now in place. 

No loose items will be accepted.  

The following items must be placed in closed, tightly-sealed garbage bags in the regular garbage collection: 

  • Personal hygiene products 
  • Used tissues 
  • Cleaning cloths 
  • Face masks 
  • Gloves 
  • Similar items used for cleaning and personal use 

Someone sick in your home 
If you are sick, or caring for someone who is sick in your home, please double-bag your waste, seal it tightly and place it in the regular garbage collection.  

Green bin materials 
All food scraps/food waste must be placed in a kraft/paper bag, wrapped in newspaper or paper towels (no plastic bags) and placed in the green bin at the curb. There is no change yard waste collection.

Wipes are not flushable. Please place them in your sealed garbage bags.
