This is the last week to provide your feedback on White Rock’s draft Integrated Transportation and Infrastructure Master Plan (ITIMP).
A public survey launched Sept. 23 on the Transportation project page at talkwhiterock.ca/transportation.
The full draft plan for review is posted on the ITIMP project page, and a summary video and highlights document are also available for those who would like to get a high-level understanding of what is contained in the draft ITMP.
Residents can contact City staff with questions about the ITIMP at 604-541-2181 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The City is excited to share the draft Integrated Transportation and Infrastructure Master Plan (ITIMP). Building on what was heard during the first phase of public engagement, this long-term plan will guide decisions related to transportation and infrastructure in White Rock over the next twenty years. The final plan will include key themes such as walking, cycling, access to transit, neighbourhood parking, driving and truck traffic and traffic safety.
The draft plan was informed by the input received in Phase One of the engagement. The Issues and Opportunities Survey was open from Dec. 9, 2020 to Feb. 3, 2021, and the respondents shared their priorities for the outcomes for the ITIMP and for White Rock’s Transportation system.
Mayor Darryl Walker City of White Rock
“To make our city even better, the City of White Rock’s transportation system must evolve to move everyone efficiently and comfortably, no matter how people choose to get to their destinations.
The plan will provide a long-term strategy that will guide transportation and infrastructure decisions for the next 20 years. Let’s work together to create a connected transportation system that supports mobility options for people of all ages and abilities.”
