New Public Health Orders effective Dec 22: Changes to White Rock programs and activities

COVID-19 update from the City of White Rock

New Public Health orders to help slow the spread of COVID-19 have been put in place effective midnight December 22, 2021 until January 18, 2022.

Regular recreational programs will not be affected, with the exception of a few changes to arena programs and activitiesThis means that all programs for adults, children and youth, recreational education and classes, will continue to operate. 

Changes to Arena Programs and Activities

For the health and safety of arena participants and staff, a few changes will be implemented to arena programs and activities, including the Holiday Break family skating and Stick and Puck at Centennial Arena:

  1. All arena programs and activities will now require pre-registration. Payment at the door will not be permitted.
  2. All arena programs and activities will have a limit of 50 participants. (no spectators permitted during public programming).
  3. All participants 12 years and older must show proof of vaccination.
  4. All participants over the age of five must wear a mask when in the arena (except on the ice).
