Art on Display

A partnership between the City of White Rock and Semiahmoo Arts, the Art on Display program ensures art is visible and accessible to the community.  In a series of five to eight themed juried exhibitions held throughout the year, Art on Display showcases work in a variety of media by local and other artists. 

Elena Perelman: Alice in Wonderland

Elena Perelman was born and raised in St. Petersburg, a cultural capital of Russia. She attended the Surkoff Art School from 2005-2009. In 2009, when Elena moved to Canada she opened her art studio, RUSART Fine Arts, where she has been teaching art to children and adults.
The Alice in Wonderland series dives into a fantasy dream world. In this acrylic paint series, Alice in constantly changing and adapting to the characters she encounters. Along her adventure she meets the Blue Caterpillar, the Dodo Bird, and of course, the Queen of Hearts.
This exhibition runs until June 15 2018

Art on Display runs at the White Rock Community Centre-Gallery.  It is a multi-purpose art space dedicated to delivering art and cultural services to White Rock and South Surrey. Due to the many creative activities in this space the gallery does not have set hours. Please call in advance for viewing 604-541-2199
