Change to Tree Management Bylaw
January 14, 2015
The goal of the Tree Management Bylaw is to ensure the provision of a sustainable, healthy urban tree canopy within the City of White Rock.
In order to achieve this goal, the amended Tree Management Bylaw prohibits the unauthorized removal of or damage to protected trees on all private property in the City of White Rock. Where removal is deemed necessary, the Bylaw ensures that adequate replanting occurs.
The Engineering and Municipal Operations Department is responsible for issuing tree management permits as per Bylaw No. 1831. For more information on tree management on private land, please contact Engineering and Municipal Operations at 604.541.2181.Go to Top
