Call for Artists - Artists Walk Annual Permit

Are you a local artist who would like to create and sell your artwork on the White Rock Promenade? The City of White Rock is currently accepting applications for the Artists Walk annual permit. The application deadline is February 19.

A limited number of artists are permitted to create and sell their artwork in White Rock.
The intent of these permits is to exhibit and demonstrate the process of producing art.

Selected artists will be required to obtain an Artists Walk License prior to commencing work. Interested artist must submit an application form to the White Rock Community Centre.

2016 APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR NEW LICENSES IS 19 FEBRUARY 2016.

How to Apply

  1. Download and complete the application form Artists Walk Application.
  2. New applicants please submit three to five high resolution JPEG images emailed, submitted on a disk, or printed photographs of artwork to the White Rock Community Centre. All artwork must be clearly marked with artist’s name, title and size. No originals will be accepted.
  3. All artists will be notified once the application has been juried by the Artists Walk Committee.

Permit Fees
The Artists Walk Annual License is valid March 1 to February 28. 
The license fee for March 1, 2016 to February 28, 2017 is $150.

Parking
Pay parking is in effect.  Parking is NOT included in the artist license.
