December 12: Public Hearing - Bylaws 2126/2127 (14022/34 North Bluff Road and 1590 Nichol Road - Texor)

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING - MONDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2016

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of White Rock will hold a Public Hearing in City Hall COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 15322 Buena Vista Avenue, White Rock, BC, on Monday, DECEMBER 12, 2016at 7:00 p.m. in accordance with the Local Government Act. At the Public Hearing, all persons who deem their interest in property is affected by the proposed Rezoning and Official Community Plan Amendments shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions reflecting matters contained in the proposed application that is the subject of the Public Hearing.

  • Official Community Plan Bylaw, 2008, No. 1837, Amendment No. 22, (14022/34 North Bluff Road and 1590 Nichol Road), 2016, No. 2126
  • White Rock Zoning Bylaw, 2012, No. 2000, Amendment (CD-56 – 14022/34 North Bluff Road and 1590 Nichol Road) Bylaw, 2016, No. 2127

PURPOSE:                   

Bylaws 2126 and 2127 would allow for the construction of a five-storey, mixed-use development with 51 residential units and commercial space at 14022/34 North Bluff Road and 1590 Nichol Road. The proposed OCP amendment would change the designation of 14022/34 North Bluff Road from “Detached or Attached Residential (Low Density)” to “Commercial” to match the existing designation of 1590 Nichol Road. The proposed zoning for the properties is “Comprehensive Development Zone 56” (CD-56).

Please Note: Correspondence that is the subject of a Public Hearing, Public Meeting, or other public processes will be included, in its entirety, in the public information package and will form part of the public record. Council shall not receive further submissions from the public or interested persons concerning the application after the Public Hearing has concluded.

A copy of the proposed Bylaws and associated reports may be inspected in the City Clerk’s Office at White Rock City Hall, 15322 Buena Vista Avenue, White Rock, BC, from Wednesday, November 30, 2016 until Monday, December 12, 2016, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding weekends and statutory holidays.
