CITY OF WHITE ROCK

NOTICE OF LEASE AND PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE

The City of White Rock hereby gives notice pursuant to section 26 of the Community Charter of its intention to lease approximately 510 square feet of commercial office space located within the premises at 1174 Fir Street, White Rock, to the WHITE ROCK BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION, for the purposes of operating a business improvement association. The term of the lease will be for 3 years, 7 months, commencing on
June 1, 2016 and terminating on December 31, 2019. The base monthly rent will be allocated as follows:

(a)    $1,904.76 per month from June 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017;

(b)    $1,942.86 per month from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018;

(c)     $1,981.71 per month from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019;

The City further gives notice, in accordance with section 24 of the Community Charter, that it will be providing assistance to the WHITE ROCK BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION by leasing this space for less than market value.
