NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING - MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2016

PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR LIQUOR LICENCE FOR 1328 JOHNSTON ROAD (LL 16-035)

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of White Rock will hold a Public Hearing in City Hall COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 15322 Buena Vista Avenue, White Rock, BC, on Monday, NOVEMBER 7, 2016at 7:00 p.m. in accordance with the Liquor Control and Licensing Act  and the City of White Rock Planning Procedures Bylaw, 2009, No. 1869.  At the Public Hearing, all persons who deem their interest in property is affected by the proposed application for the Liquor Licence shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions reflecting matters contained in the proposed application that is the subject of the Public Hearing.

SUBJECT:                  Application for Liquor Licence for 1328 Johnston Road (LL 16-035)

CIVIC ADDRESS:    1328 Johnston Road

PURPOSE:                Blue Frog Studios has applied for a Liquor Primary Licence based upon the concert venue’s capacity of 100 persons. Conditions of the licence would include liquor service being limited to one hour prior to, during, and one hour after a live event, and no minors permitted when liquor being served. The LCLB requires a Council resolution on all new Liquor Primary Licence applications.

Should you have any comments or concerns you wish to convey to Council and you cannot attend the Public Hearing, please submit in writing to the City Clerk by 4:00 p.m., Monday, November 7, 2016.  You may forward your submissions by:

15322 Buena Vista Avenue, White Rock, BC V4B 1Y6; or

 Please Note: Correspondence that is the subject of a Public Hearing, Public Meeting, or other public processes will be included, in its entirety, in the public information package and will form part of the public record. Council shall not receive further submissions from the public or interested persons concerning the application after the Public Hearing has concluded.
