The purpose of the meeting is to introduce a proposed Zoning Bylaw Amendment application which, if approved, would enable the subdivision of the property at 15733 Thrift Avenue. The application proposes to change the zoning of the property from the One Unit Residential (RS-1) Zone to the One Unit (12.1m Lot Width) Residential (RS-4) Zone. Both the RS-1 Zone and the RS-4 Zone allow for a registered secondary suite. The general provisions of the Zoning Bylaw would need to be satisfied with any future development; the required parking supply for a one unit residential use is two spaces per unit plus one space for a secondary suite.

The purpose of the meeting is to introduce a proposed zoning amendment application which, if approved, would permit an 89 square metre (958 square foot) mezzanine level to be installed in the new location for 3 Dogs Brewing in Phase 2 of Miramar Village. The amendment would exempt the mezzanine floor space, which does not impact the exterior of the building, from counting toward the building’s floor area, which is at the current maximum of the CD-16 site specific zone that applies to Miramar Village. This additional 89 square metres would accommodate approximately 46 seats for patrons.
